What should be included in the handover?
Agree the native file version, plotting setup, title block, layer rules, naming, revision convention and register fields before drafting starts.

How are symbols and conventions controlled?
Use the customer's approved symbol library where supplied. IEC 60617 is an official source for electrotechnical diagram symbols, but the project may also prescribe local or company conventions.

What is outside a drafting-only service?
A drafting-only scope does not create unapproved protection logic, calculate settings or certify the engineering. Those decisions remain with the responsible engineer.

Can existing PDFs be used as inputs?
Yes, if the scope states whether they are reference-only, to be redrawn or to be revised from an available native source.
Are title blocks included?
Use the customer's title block when supplied. Otherwise agree a temporary review format before drafting.
Can the drafter approve design clearances?
No. The drafter records supplied dimensions and flags gaps. The responsible engineer approves design requirements.
