Run it before each formal review or issue and after a markup changes the drawing basis.

What standards does the checklist replace?
None. IEC 60617 provides an official symbol source, while IEEE C2, IEC 61936-1 and OSHA requirements address different parts of electrical safety and work. The project team selects the applicable requirements.

What still needs engineering review?
Topology, ratings, protection intent, safety clearances and design compliance need the responsible engineer. The checklist prepares the drawing for that review.
Common questions
What else should the bid team know?
Does a completed checklist approve the drawing?
No. It records drafting controls. Engineering sign-off remains with the registered engineer responsible for the job.
Can the CSV be stored with the drawing register?
Yes. Rename it with the drawing set and revision so the check remains traceable.
Should every revision repeat all checks?
Repeat the controls affected by the change and the complete pre-issue check required by the customer's procedure.
